I am trying to fully understand how the RTC Quick Search works (for Work items), as well as the Full Text search capability in queries. We're having problems getting hits on certain searches - not sure if indexing is messed up or  if just don't fully understanding how search works.  I cannot find a recent article (RTC 4.0.6 or 5.0) that fully explains the intricacies of how it works. Are articles talking about RTC 3.x still relevant?

The two best articles on this should be(for v4.0.x and should still apply to 5.0 now):

I believe it would help you to understand the concepts of query and searches in RTC(and RQM).
