What impacts to increasing license check-out time ?
We've gotten complaint that the user has to login too often during their work day. I've determined it is due to license checkout.
"several times a day I have to enter my password (RQM repository) to be able to work with RQM. Eventhough I did not leave the RQM page. It should be sufficient to enter password once a day. If this is works as design, change this behavior please." Another discussion mentioned legal concerns for shortening license check-out time ? It's likely that the usage will more likely lead to unavailable licenses. On the affected server, the average peak of checked out licenses is ~350 (developer floating) TIA, Kevin |

Kevin,
Our WAS logs are >99% about LTPA expiring i.e.

at the rate of 1000s / day. Hmm. but looks like expiration is several minutes premature.
LTPA timeout is 240 min, WAS session lifetime is the same. License checkout is set to 180 minutes.
