Hide Project Areas for users that do not participate

Hi All,

We want to host separated projects on the same team server.

A project participant of project A should not see project B and should not have read access to project B.

Is that possible, and how do I configure that?

The default behaviour is that the web ui lists all existing project areas after login.

Thanks a lot,

Timo

Hi Timo

Right now (RTC 1.0.1) you cannot hide projects on the same server. You would need to run on different servers

Hi Anthony,

Is this a planned feature?

From our view, this is quite important, as we actually want to host projects from different devisions that do not have read access to each other on one server.

This missing feature might be a killer for project manager who want to pilot a project in RTC. They will definitly not be happy that every user can read everything in their project.

Thanks,
Timo

Hi

It's in the plan and in progress - take a look here:

https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Jazz%20Project#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=62548

This is for controlling access to a project - just as you describe.
