How to query on Approval type?

My requirement is, I want query on list of items for which Approval type - "Verification" is not present. Is that possible? if yes what conditions should I involve is query conditions?

I think you can do this. I added a Verification type approval to a work item and it disappeared from the list.

Select [Approval Descriptors] > [Type] > is not [Verification]
