I am using CLM 4.0 and LPA Projects, and found that junk characters get displayed instead of link names in eclipse client.

steps I used:
1> Create a new lifecycle project
2> Create a new artifact-->
3> Query for the artifact and click on link-->implemented by
4> either choose a new or an existing one
5> Login to the eclipse client
6> Query for the workitem
7> click on link
8> The name field in the displayed link is garbled and contains junk characters.

Is this a defect?

yes - this issue has been identified as defect [Eclipse UI] Title of linked RM artifacts in rich hover is displayed with encoded characters (213087)
which was fixed in 4.0.1
