limitation when exporting work items

Hi,

Is there any size limitation when exporting work items?

My customer is facing the problem as below:

Trying to export work items with selecting all attributes using eclipse client.
When he clicks [Finish] to generate csv file, it shows an error end a warning like this:

Warning : Going to buffer response body of large or unknown size. Using getResponseBodyAsStream instead is recommended.
Error : CRJAZ1247I The request to the server failed.  The server returned the http error 400 with error text "Bad Request".  Examine any further details here or look in the server log files for more information on how to resolve the issue.

When he selects all "built-in" attributes only, it works fine.
Also selecting all "custom" attributes only works fine, selecting all "links" attributes only works fine as well.
But once he selects all these 3 types in one operation, export fails.

So I'm wondering if there is any size limitation when exporting work items, or is this a behaviour as designed?

I really appreciate it if anyone could give me help.
Thank you in advance.

Hello,
the above might as well be a server side error (example  - I found https://jazz.net/forum/questions/94705/problem-in-uploading-a-test-plan-with-1k-associated-test-cases-to-rqm)

As we get a 400 error at export time, I would:
- stop my server
- rotate the CCM server log: rename ccm.log to ccm.log.sav
- restart my server
- try the failing case again
- check and correlate both Eclipse .log and ccm.log

If not containing confidential information, you may attach these files here.
Or send them to me using my IBM email address.

Thanks
Eric.

Thank you for your quick reply.
I'll discuss with the customer and I'll let you know when we want the logs investigated.

Hello,
if dealing with a customer issue, you may want to open a formal PMR (IBM Support ticket)  - https://jazz.net/help/support/

Thanks.
Eric.
