Requesting write access for IBMers

This topic gives IBMers guidance about how to request Deployment practitioner (or TWikiAuthorsGroup-level) write access to the Deployment wiki and membership to the Rational Team Concert project for the Deployment wiki (the Deployment wiki project). For a description of the levels of write access, see Deployment wiki access control.

IBMers who want to become a technical leader or senior editor of the wiki must follow the following process first, and then submit their nomination for consideration to the community technical leaders and senior editors by using the web-based nomination process.

Tivoli Identity Manager Request

Many Rational staff will already have TWikiAuthorsGroup-level write access to the Deployment wiki, but will not have membership to the Deployment wiki project. To gain TWikiAuthorsGroup-level write access to the Deployment wiki and membership to the Deployment wiki project, you can make a single request in the internal Tivoli Identity Manager (ITIM) for Rational.

To gain write access to the wiki and membership to the project:

1. Log in to ITIM by using your intranet user ID and password.
   
2. Click Request Access.
   
3. In the search field, type Deployment Wiki. In the search results, click Deployment Wiki.
   
4. Click Request Access.
   

After a day or so, you will have TWikiAuthorsGroup-level write access to the Deployment wiki and membership in the Deployment wiki project.
