Any documentation or tutorials for customizing work items

I have been doing quite a lot of work in terms of customizing work items but I am finding it somewhat confusing.  I  cant seem to figure out what the different editors actually change.  I have made changes to the Work Item Editor and they all show up but is there anywhere that can tell me when the other editors are used:

  • Inline Work Item Editor
  • Lightweight Work Item Creation Dialog
  • Plan Editor Preview
Specifically I am trying to change what you see when you click the "Show Preview" glasses button in eclipse but I cant seem to figure out where that is configured

Here is one article: https://jazz.net/library/article/130

The Inline Work Item Editor is used in the Web UI, the plan editor preview is used in Web UI plans, the lightweight work item creation dialog is used when creating work items e.g. on the link tab.

I don't think you can modify the Show Preview because it is built into Eclipse.
