Eclipse client 4.0.0.1 compatible with 4.0.1 server?

Is eclipse 4.0.01 client compatible with 4.0.1 server? Please let us know.

 We have upgraded our server to 4.0.1 last week and can tell from experience that the client 3.x and 4.0.0.1 work together with the server 4.0.1.

In general development aims for an N-1 compatibility. So it should definitely work. Please be aware that there might be things such as client operational behavior that might be new in the 4.0.1 client. That would not be available in the old version.
