How to resume the test case execution if we cancel/stop run in middle of execution?

Hello,

I could not find any option to resume a test case or test suite executions if we cancel or stop their runs in the middle of execution. Is there any way to resume them?

Thanks.

Hi Pragathi,

My team also came across such an issue

Let me write down the steps for you Assuming that you are step no 7 in a Test Script and wanted to pause from here.
  1. Click Pause Button
  2. you will see the Resume Execution button enabled.
  3. Note: Please don’t click on Stop button
  4. When, you click on pause button you can just close the tab to leave, no need to disconnect .

Stop button is to finish and create a new execution; pause to continue later.\

  5. Exit from the screen
  6. To start over the execution again where you left off.

Go To Execution > View Test Execution Records

  7. Select the TC which you have paused. Click on Resume Execution Button.
  8. From the paused state you can continue with the testing.

Hope this helps .. If you are not clear please share your email id I can share the document with you.

Regards

Thank you Anoop for your response.

Referring to your step 1, I could not find "Pause" button anywhere. Which version are you using? We have 3.0.1 version.

I use 2.0.1 iFIX5
