Is it possible to export a report template from one RRDI repository into another?

I created a report for a team in their RRDI project in the their CLM repository.  I'd like to share this with other teams that have their own separate CLM repositories.  I'm not seeing an export option for the template.   Is this possible to do?

You can share reports individually as xml file or a whole package of reports by exporting folders in Cognos Connections.

See here for details on how to exchange one report at the time: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rentrpt/v1r1m1/topic/com.ibm.rational.raer.reporting.doc/topics/t_savereport.html or http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/cbi/v10r1m1/topic/com.ibm.swg.ba.cognos.ug_cr_rptstd.10.1.1.doc/c_cr_rptstd_modrep_modifying_existing_reports.html#cr_rptstd_modrep_modifying_existing_reports

Here how to export and import them as packages: http://pic.dhe.ibm.com/infocenter/rentrpt/v1r1m1/topic/com.ibm.rational.raer.reporting.doc/topics/t_workingwithcognosadminstration.html

Hope this helps,
Peter.

Thanks Peter,

I looked in the CLM docs only. Should have looked in Cognos as well.

Once exporting a report in xml format from an RRDI project is it possible to import it into an Insight project on another server?

My assumption is yes because it's still Cognos and RRDI is a subset of Insight, but it may not work the other way around from Insight to RRDI if using external data sources.

Yes, as long as you use the same Reporting Data Model.
