Why could Advanced Search on Jazz.net intermittent fail to return hits?

Advanced search used to work well so far. It started to break this morning failing to return any items. it intermittently works, but for example if submitting the very same search term that returned results a minute later it shows:

We're sorry. We could not process your search request. Try different keywords and/or check out the 'Search Tips' for correct usage.

Do you mean the Jazz.net site search at very top of page, or do you mean searching just the Forum (below "Ask a question" button)?

I was using the Jazz.net site search.
