Hi

On a Win-7 64 bit machine, I have installed CLM 2012 (fresh Installation)
The installation was successfull. However when I try accessing the JTS homepage (Mozilla 10.0.4 & IE8), I receive the following message

=========   ERROR    ============
SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle /jts/setup has not been defined.
SRVE0255E: A WebGroup/Virtual Host to handle localhost:9443 has not been defined.

IBM WebSphere Application Server
==========  END OF ERROR   ============

On the machine, I have also configured WAS 7.0 trial setup.

Any inputs on how to resolve this?  Is there a way to check as to which port is being used by the CLM setup on the machine, though I tried with default 9443 port
(https://localhost:9443/jts/setup)
(https://<hostname>:9443/jts/setup)
(https://<IpAddress>:9443/jts/setup)

Thanks in advance

Regards
Rajesh

Hi Rajesh,

There are a number of ways you can check the default port, but from your description it sounds to me like the JTS application has not been deployed to WebSphere yet.  Could that be the case here?

You can check the AboutThisProfile.txt in the WebSphere profile logs directory (ie - C:\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\CLM\logs\AboutThisProfile.txt) to see what your default port is for HTTPS Transport.  This should be the port the deployed applications are running on.

You can also check the SystemOut.log to make sure those ports are binding at startup.

You should also be able to log in to the WAS admin console (https://<server>:<port>/ibm/console) (the port for the admin console can also be found in the AboutThisProfile.txt) to check whether the CLM applications are started.

Hope it helps,

Hi

Thanks very much for your reply.
I did check the files as mentioned ... still no luck.   The AboutThisProfile.txt contents are below:
================================
Application server environment to create: Application server
Location: C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM\WebSphere\AppServer\profiles\AppSrv01
Disk space required: 200 MB
Profile name: AppSrv01
Make this profile the default: True
Node name: IBM-CNLPM5JOKKTNode01
Host name: IBM-CNLPM5JOKKT
Enable administrative security (recommended): True
Administrative console port: 9060
Administrative console secure port: 9043
HTTP transport port: 9080
HTTPS transport port: 9443
Bootstrap port: 2809
SOAP connector port: 8880
Run application server as a service: True
Create a Web server definition: FALSE
Performance tuning setting: Standard
==================================
I'm able to access WAS homepage (https://localhost:9043/ibm/console/logon.jsp) but not CLM (https://localhost:9443/jts/setup).

Thanks again

When you log in to the WAS admin console and click Applications -> Enterprise Applications, do you see the CLM applications running (JTS/CCM/QM/RM/Converter)?  From your description, you stated that you've installed CLM and WAS.  Either you have not actually deployed the apps after installing CLM through Installation Manager, or you selected the old context roots during installation (ie - jazz instead of jts).  You can check the context root by clicking the application in the WAS admin console and clicking on "Context Root".  Hope it helps,

Please check under Applications, if you have atleast jts and qm listed there and they are started (shown as green).
If they are not listed, you will have to manually register them to WAS and start the applications before running the jts setup.

More information on configuring and deploying applications on WAS can be found here:
