Can we re-register QM /RM later on the other server, which was on the same server before?

I know we can not re-register the same repository application officially according to the reference site.
However, is it possible to move QM/RM to other server, which is on the same server before.

So, currently we have "JTS/CCM/QM/RM on the one server" but the customer want to keep "JTS/CCM" only on the sever and move QM and RM to other server because of lack of resource on the server?

They had not used QM/RM before but they had installed and configured these as applications.
so, they do not mind to use a fresh QM/RM application but CCM must be the same repository as before.

Does anyone know what is the best way to archive this?
