RTC or ClearCase/ClearQuest
One answer
As I'm sure you could guess, it depends on your development environment
and on your SCM needs.
If your developers are using Eclipse, and if you don't need more than
250 users sharing a repository, and you have a Windows or Linux box to
run your server on, then I'd suggest starting with RTC. (Note that we
are working on removing those restrictions, e.g. a Visual Studio client,
increased scalability, and more platforms).
If some of your teams meet these criteria, but some some of your team
members don't (or need some of the unique characteristics of ClearCase
such as dynamic views or build auditing), you can use the ClearCase
Connector to integrate the teams using RTC with the teams using ClearCase.

Hi,
If I am looking for a SCM/Defect Tracking solution for my project
which one should I go for - RTC or ClearCase/UCM/ClearQuest? Why and
why not for RTC and why and why not for CC-CQ?
Thanks!
