Jazz and agile development

Hi,

Since Jazz can be proposed for remote teams (geographically distributed development) and the communication between Jazz Team Server and RTC clients is through http, won't it hit the performance as http is always slower? And, one of the requirements of agile development is speed! Any thoughts on this?

Thanks!

I could tell you how fast Team Concert is or you could try it out and tell us. The feedback as been very positive so far.

See https://jazz.net/blog/index.php/2008/02/01/the-jazz-metronome-tool-keeps-us-honest/ for details on our WAN performance testing.

Hi,

Thanks for your reply! Just wondering, does RTC eclipse client use some kind of wrapper around TCP/IP (may be called as eclipse protocol) to communicate with Jazz Team Server or is it a plain http request to the Jazz server?

Thanks!
