Unable to duplicate a plan

Feng Liu (511125) | asked Sep 22 '08, 5:39 a.m.
I'm trying to duplicate a plan from the Project A to the Project B which are created using the same process template. But there are two problems I've encountered.

One is for duplicating a simple plan. After duplicating that, I got an empty copied plan which haven't any work items within it.

Another case is for duplicating a complex plan which created by other team member. When I try to duplicate it, an exception is thrown which is shown as below:
Problem
An error occurred during "Save Iteration Plan".

CRJAZ0215I Item not found: com.ibm.team.process.internal.common.impl.TeamAreaHandleImpl@77367736 (stateId: , itemId: , origin: <unset>, immutable: <unset>)

So, how can I duplicate a plan from one project to another project? Is this possible in current release of the RTC?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi there

empty copied plan which haven't any work items within it.

That is correct. Duplicating a plan does not include work items. Think

of a plan as a special query and query result presentation.

CRJAZ0215I Item not found:
com.ibm.team.process.internal.common.impl.TeamAreaHandleImpl@77367736
(stateId: , itemId: , origin: <unset>, immutable:
unset>)

So, how can I duplicate a plan from one project to another project? Is
this possible in current release of the RTC?

Are both projects in the same repository? Please file a bug with the
full stacktrace.
