In the jazz/setup procedure on step 3 Enable E-mail notification.
I get an error message. "An error occurred while saving the configuration properties."
Is this configuration saved in the database or flat files.
Where should I be looking to find out why it will not save.

That situation is commonly seen in two cases.

1. The latest WAS Java SDK fixpack is not installed (if running on WAS)
2. The location of the teamserver.properties file is in a directory with
a ' ' in the name.

Do either of those apply to you?

I thought I had the latest SDK, but let me go and see what is out there. I will apply what i find if it is not already there.
The path to the prop file is /apps/IBM/JazzTeamServer/server, so I think we are okay there.

That did it. I did not have the very latest SDK. I got to the next step and ran into ldap configuration errors. I will open a new topic for that one.
