Where to install SSL certificate in Distributed Environment

Installing CLM 4.0 (JTS, RQM, RTC) in distributed environment. Application Server is Websphere 8.0.

JTS, WAS in machine1.

RTC, WAS in machine2.

RQM, WAS in machine3.

I want to install SSL Ceritifcate. Can you let me know where i have to deploy SSL Ceritifcate. Do i need certificate for all 3 machines and deploy in all 3 machines or do i need certificate for machine1 and to deploy in machine1 where only JTS and WAS is insatlled.

 It depends on whether you have a reverse proxy sitting in front of your applications. If you have a reverse proxy then the certificate will only need to be installed on that, if however the users are connecting to each of the servers directly, then the SSL certificate will need to be installed on each of those servers.
