RAM emails no longer contain all info needed

iRAM Administrator (3152156135) | asked Jul 10 '12, 10:51 a.m.
Hi,
Is this email behaviour in this way in iRAM 7.5.1.1. Email triggers in to(recipient) address blank and absence of Asset name
Emails that result from requesting access now lack two pieces of information:

1.  The note no longer shows who else gets the notice, so I don't know who else is reviewing the request.

2.  It no longer shows the asset name, just the unique ID

As for 1, this was changed in 7.5.1.1 so that all email sent directly by RAM (not by a user) will be BCC (see RATLC02577115 - RAM email recipients must be included in BCC instead of CC (53273))

As for 2, this is a security measure. RAM no longer will allow users who do not have access to an asset to see any details about the asset, such as the name of the asset. Because all of the mailings go out as one email but bcc'd there isn't a way to have the name filled in on one user but not the other user. There is an enhancement for this (Enhancement 67283) but this hasn't been committed to implement yet.

Can you shed some info for 1.  What instigate the email ... e.g, is it a review/collaboration notification, an email policy,  ... have you modified the default email template from the Tools page?
