Requirements Section of all RQM artifact

Chidambaram L (23414178) | asked Jun 20 '12, 7:55 a.m.
We use RQM 3.0.1.1.
In "Manage Sections" of Test Plan & Test Case, there is a section called "Requirements". What is the purpose of this section ? I am not able to create / add any artifact in this section, though I have all privilege in the project. In Test Case, "Add Requirement" of this section brings up a widget with search window; but this search does not lead to any result.

Is it deprecated in RQM 3.0.1.1 ?

For Test plan Requirements section is obsolete but supported for backward compatibility purpose. You can use this section to create link with CQ/DOORS requirements using point to point integration.
Requirement Collection Links is the new section which contains links to the group of requirement like Requirement Collection in RRC or Module in DOORS.

In a similar fashion Requirement section is obsolete in Testcase and you should use Requirement Links section.

These new sections works based on OSLC integration and are independent of who is requirement provider (ReqPro, DOORS, RRC etc..)
