Precondition for saving workitem - a change set required

akiko yamaguchi (6278) | asked May 21 '12, 3:43 a.m.
Hello.

I'm using RTC v3.0.1.3.

Is it possible to set up a precondition that defines a change set is required to save a workitem.

Thanks in advance.

I don't see any out-of-the-box preconditions in RTC 4.0 that require a work item to have an attached change set. So it's really unlikely that there are any such preconditions in RTC 3.0.1.

If you were to create your own precondition, you probably don't want to require a change set every time the work item is saved. That would make it difficult to create a new work item. You probably want to apply the precondition only in certain states, such as when a work item is resolved.
