Detailed Trace Logs for Build Request

Randy Tan (21155) | asked May 21 '12, 12:10 a.m.
Hi,

Would like to get a detailed trace log of the build execution from RTC. The RTC build request is made directly to the Build Forge agent. Is there a way to get a detailed log or enable the logging of the execution of the build definition, especially when the Build Forge agent connects to RTC to fetch the source files.

Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Randy

I would start by turning on the Build log4j logging options in the CCM conf folder. You can also go to the BFAgent.conf and turn on the leave_temp_file. That will leave the bat files that the agent uses to run commands in the temp folder. Just be sure to disable it after you are done as it can make the bat files stack up quickly.
