Difference between "news" and "events"

In the "my work" and "team central" views, you are able to add "news" and "events".

What is the difference between these since they both seem to be based on feeds (and show the same info when based on the same feed) ?

thanks

Hi,

I do think that we should consolidate this a little bit. News and Events
are indeed technically the same, although we rather talk about Events if
the feed items are generated by Jazz (as opposed to an arbitrary
RSS/Atom feed). Could you please file a work item for this?

Cheers,
Tobias
