Creating a work item within a plan in the Eclipse client

I have question about creating a work item from within a plan in the Eclipse client.
Specifically, when following this instruction "Right-click a group folder or a work item and click Add Work Item and select a work item type.", you have access to the Summary and Description fields. The space where the Description field is available shows default text <Add> until you click on it, then you have an editable blank space.
Is it possible to remove the part for the Description attribute for this operation? I have played around with the editor presentations (eg for a Story) but haven't been able to remove it.
Is it possible to do this and where?
