Can I use localadmin to do RTC/WAS installation?

Jirong Hu (1.5k9295258) | asked Jul 28 '11, 4:51 p.m.
I am about to install RTC 3.0.1 with WAS7 and Oracle on two Windows 2008 Enterprise Server R2.

The login I have now is a local administrative id to these two servers, not domain id. Can I use this id to do all the initial installation of RTC, WAS and Oracle?

For later project setup and configuration, I will use my id (have asked to create LDAP JazzAdmins, JazzProjectAdmins and JazzDWAdmins and added my domain id into this group).

And all RTC users have to be added into JazzUsers group, right?

Thanks
Jirong

For read-only access, you can assign a user to the JazzGuests repository
group.

For a description of what it means for a user to be assigned to a given
repository group, see the on-line help topic "Creating users".
