BIRT Category report.

is there any way of getting a list of categories for a specific Project Area using BIRT? There is the Category table but when queried it returns all the categories from the repository.

Hi Russellin,
try to pick tables containing project area and category names together and set filters to be equal to your specific project area. is there any way of getting a list of categories for a specific Project Area using BIRT? There is the Category table but when queried it returns all the categories from the repository. |
![]() Hi Russellin, is there any way of getting a list of categories for a specific Project Area using BIRT? There is the Category table but when queried it returns all the categories from the repository. There are some tablesthat provide this information but they require work items to have been created for the categories. We have 165 categories so initially not all categories would have a work item assigned to them. |

There should be a mapping table taht does not relate to workitems, but contains projarea-category mapping alone
