Notice: For jazz.net community members who have been testing the RRC beta and milestone candidates we have made a recent change in the latest release of RC2 for RRC 4.0. We have had to remove the Module feature from the release and (as now depicted in the RRC Release Plan) we will not be including it in the RRC 4.0 GA release in Q2 2012.

The Module feature requires some re-design to fix the known issues, and fixes are now underway. We anticipate that we will re-introduce the Modules capability in a near term future release.

During the past several months we've received excellent feedback from customers on the usefulness of Modules in RRC to help organize requirements, order artifacts, and establish a useful management structure for requirements management. At the same time we've also recognized that we've had performance and quality issues with the Module capability. With only several weeks to go in development and testing we've had to make the difficult decision to remove this capability for additional work before it can be put back into RRC for a GA release.

We appreciate that a few of you were anticipating this capability to help support your requirements development work using RRC. As a member of the Jazz community you'll know that jazz.net is our open and iterative portal to provide you with early information on our plans and development changes. This change is merely part of our iterative process and we hope that you wont be too disappointed with this decision but continue to help us improve the feature (through beta and release candidates) for a better quality near term release.
