I can select an Command Line adapter from the create Test Script option however the adapters do not display in the Adapter Console.
Any help greatly appreciated.

The first question is: have you started the adapter on the remote machine yet? If you look below the RQM installation directory, you should see an "adapters" directory. In there is RQMCommandLineAdapter.zip. This archive contains a readme.txt that will get your adapter started and registered with the RQM server. Only then will it show up in the Adapter Console.
