Test Case and Test Script reporting status and progress

Chris Palmer (251112) | asked Apr 04 '12, 10:36 a.m.
From the test case is it possible to view the status of all test scripts and thier execution progress?

In the test execution console it is possible to see the status and progress of test cases but not the individual test scripts.

It would be useful if we could view all the test scripts associated with a test case and their latest execution and status information from within the test case.

In the TER it is possible to view the latest run but if we want to view all test scripts it is not possible.

What are we missing, is there any way to do this? All suggestions would be welcome.

I think what's missing is the idea that Test Cases and Test Scripts don't have active status; they are "static" entities. One only executes TERs and these have status. If you view Test Case Results and then select the result in which you're interested, you can view the Previous Results.
