Copying TER's from one milestone to another in Test Plans

Hi All,

We are trying to copy failed TER's from one milestone to another milestone between different test plans, this is taking lot of time to identify and move the relevant test cases into the respective milestone. every time we need to spend minimum 2 to 3hrs to complete this task depending on the no of test cases.

Please find below the example for your reference.

Test Plan : Cycle1
Milestone1 : System Test cases : 200(Failed 100)
Milestone2 : Regression Test cases : 400( Failed 200)

Test Plan : Cycle2
Milestone1 : System Test cases : 100
Milestone2 : Failed test cases in C1 : 300 (100+200)

From the above data, If we want to take the list 200 failed test cases from Cycle1 test plan and move them into Cycle2 test plan under Milestone2 we have to manually identify all 200 failed test cases and move them accordingly .

Can anyone please suggest us on how we can overcome this problem and save time.We are using RQM 3.0.1.1

Anyhelp in this regard is highly helpful.

Thanks in Advance

I haven't been able to think of a great way of doing this. The easiest way that I can see is to first add all of the failed test cases to the new test plan. Then in bulk generate the TCERs for the test cases, adding them to the required milestone. The first step in this is going to be pretty manual because there's no way to filter on milestone of last result in the view for adding test cases since those are attributes of TCERs.

I would suggest filing and RFE for this use case since it seem to be a particularly valuable one.
