Exported query result has # for parent id

When we export the query result of parent workitem ids to csv file in RTC 3.0.1.2 it displays the parent ids with "#" in front of the ID ?

Why do we get the "#" symbol for the parent ids? Is there any way to get rid of this ?

As far as I remember the # means the work item exists and is used during imports to create links. You can use a search&replace to get rid of the #.

Thanks Ralp, so this processing has to be done outside RTC only.
