is it required that the import spreadsheet have the following headers?

Primary Text
Title
Description

I have added additional headers in addition to these and I get the desired results.
I have changed two of the headers mentioned above and I receive a "CRRRW7553E" error message after importing.

Also, are there any required Columns that should display (for example : "Name", "Descriptions and so forth...).

Description is optional. Search for CSV in this forum for past discussions, and see the good write-up on this in the information center (help system).

Note that we are relaxing this a bit in the 2012 release:

do not require name for csv import (if primary text is provided)
