How to create a RRC process template with custom permissions

Joachim (Jim) Frank (111) | asked Mar 02 '12, 8:09 a.m.
I am trying to create a RRC process template with custom permissions. I can download an existing process template and modify the XML in specification.txt, but this is error prone and requires knowing the permissions "schema" (i.e., the permissible operation id's). I would much prefer to use the web UI to set the desired permissions in a dummy project area and export the result "as a new template". The RTC eclipse client allows me to do that as follows: I can change a Process Configuration in eclipse, switch to the Process Configuration Source tab, and copy the source (XML) into my new template. How would I do this with RRC?

A created project template can be used as a basis for another project in the same repository.

One of the capabilities we are intending to add to the next major version of RRC is the ability to download and upload project templates so the type system, folder structure, artifact examples can be exchanged between one repository and the next.

Now if you wish to control the workflow of activities that the team performs this can be done through work items in RTC, linking to the content RRC.
