Public URI during upgrade from 2.0 to 3.0.1

Hello there,

I am in the middle of an upgrade of RTC from 2.0 to 3.0.1.

The public URI for my RTC 2.0 environment was https://rtc.comp-usa.com:9443/jazz

Now I have two separate servers
one for JTS (DNS entry to https://rtcjts.comp-usa.com:9443/jtc) and
one for RTC 3.0 ( DNS pointing to https://rtc.comp-usa.com:9443/jazz)

On the JTS server, when I run the jts/setup, it asks me to confirm the URI what should I put here? https://rtcjts.comp-usa.com:9443/jts or https://rtc.comp-usa.com:9443/jazz

On the RTC 3.0 server, when I run the jazz/setup, I do not get a message to confirm the URI. What should I do?

I appreciate any suggestions or guidance here!

Hi,

I would like to suggest to go into the library and look for the upgrade workshop and related material. There is a lot of information.
Hello there,

On the JTS server, when I run the jts/setup, it asks me to confirm the URI what should I put here? https://rtcjts.comp-usa.com:9443/jts or https://rtc.comp-usa.com:9443/jazz

On the RTC 3.0 server, when I run the jazz/setup, I do not get a message to confirm the URI. What should I do?

The JTS has a different context root (jts) so the URI for JTS should be https://rtcjts.comp-usa.com:9443/jts

You are asked to confirm that because the URI can't currently be changed. since you apparently picked a machine independent URI and different ones for JTS and CCM you are fine, I guess.

The URI for RTC is already set (the value the 2.x had) so it is not asking you.
