Can a delivered change set be associated to a work item?

When I searched or an answer to this question, I found a reply from Geoff about work item 57870 https://jazz.net/jazz/web/projects/Rational%20Team%20Concert#action=com.ibm.team.workitem.viewWorkItem&id=57870 which still isn't implemented.

Is it not possible to associate a delivered change set with a work item?

Thanks
Troy

Good to hear. I created and delivered the change set and I'm the owner of the work item. I've checked all kinds of menus off the work item and nothing I see allows you to select a change set to associate.

Can you tell me how to do this?

Thanks,
Troy
You have to do it the other way and associate a work item to a change set instead of associate a change set to a work item.

If you show the history of the component of your workspace or where you delivered the change set, you can find your change set and associate a work item to it.

You can associate a work item to a change set as long as you are the change set owner or a JazzAdmin. It doesn't matter whether the change set has been delivered or not.

The work item is requesting that change set association be allowed for users that aren't the owner or a JazzAdmin.

Well that was intuitive. Looks like the history of the component is the only place this can be done from?? (and even then it is in a submenu named "Related Artifacts"). I was trying this from the Team Dashboard view. That's where I typically view change sets from.

Thanks.

You can open an enhancement work item if you really want to see the Related Artifacts sub-menu from the context menu in Team Dashboard. I don't think many view change sets from there since there may be many events and items eventually fade from the view. So I think you're the first to ask about it. It may have been in there before but I'd have to check an older version.

The action is also in Related Artifacts since support was added to link to a work item (or a CQ item) on another server.
