Could you explain what a daemons dir is? I am seeing a similar problem with any scm command except help

I use scm --config c:\some_dir  login
when you login four directories are created daemons, logs, scratch, trace also three files aliases, preferences.properties repositories.txt
I can not eplain how rtc uses the dir, I know if it does not exists i get my error.

hm.. weird. Even after adding --config to a directory, I still get the same error. Perhaps it's the setup.
