Background:
- Public URL was changed when upgrading from RTC 2.x to 3.0.0.0
- The server is currently up and running. The only problem observed is that existing links are still referencing the old public URL
- Will not be able to redo the migration.

Question:
- Is there a way to update the URL of these links from the old public URL to the new one so that these links can be used in the current environment?

You cannot currently fix up the links, which is why you should not
change the Public URL. But there is ongoing work to allow you to change
the Public URL and have links be automatically fixed up in the next
release of RTC.

I notice that after running "rebuildTextIndices", links are translating to new URL. Also links are working from web browser.
Thick client is still giving error when links are directly clicked to open. it points to old URL.
If we just copy the URL instead of opening the link, this URL points to new URL and it works if pasted in client's internal browser or any other external browser.

the URL which is not working, is in below format
https://<old_URL>/jazz/resource/itemOid/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/_EcBHEKbaEeCc1L0e1nJ1TQ

if you copy the URL from the same link it shows URL in below pattern
https://<new_URL>/jazz/resource/itemName/com.ibm.team.workitem.WorkItem/20736
