TableCells can only be added to FlowTables
An RRC 2.0.0.2 user of mine keeps having problems opening requirement artifacts in the RRC client displaying the error message "Could not open the editor: TableCells can only be added to FlowTables". The artifact is viewable in via the web client but will not open in the desktop client. At first, the problem would show up on requirements that included tables but just now he received the error when he attempted to open a requirement with just a single sentence of text. Why does this happen? Other than creating a new requirement by copying and pasting the content from the web browser, how do we fix the problem? Thank you! |

Hi Doug,
Unfortunately there were a few issues with text editing in some of the initial RRC 2.0.0.x releases whereby copy/paste in the editor could cause invalid xml and lead to the types of errors you are seeing. Subsequent releases (especially 2.0.0.4) have not only addressed those issues but also allowed the editor to be a bit more tolerant of pre-existing cases. Is moving to a newer release an option? If not, I could certainly try and assist with manually repairing the content of such artifacts, but it would need to be done on a case by case basis. Let me know if I can help further. |
