Unable to open Word document in RRC thick client

We have RRC thick client V 2.0.0.1. User has trouble opening word document for editing within the client. Get the error:

"An error has occurred. java.lang.NulPointerException"

Happens on some documents and not others. As a work around user downloaded document to laptop, made the edits, uploaded again. This takes much longer and hurts productivity.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi Robin,

Version 2.0.0.1 is getting to be a bit of an old release and we've made numerous fixes in subsequent releases. Would it b possible to try tis in a more recent version. Or alternatively, if you woul like to send m the document, I can test it in newer versions to see how it fairs.
