Hi, there is an automatic state transition that can be configured in the Process configuration for each of the three. Other than that I don't think there is a difference.

We were actually looking for a way to configure an automatic state transition based on an approval. However, we couldn't find it. Can you help?

Hi,

you can find that in the Projects Process configuration>Project Configuration>Configuration Data>Approval Tracking in the Eclipse client. I am not sure it is already exposed in the web client. Checking very briefly I could not find it.

I am not aware of any ability to control the state transitions for the
different types of approvals. The only difference I'm aware of is that
you can define deliver constraints that allow the deliver only if a
particular type of approval has been added.

Cheers,
Geoff
