broken userId needs to be removed or fixed

I have a userId that can login, be assigned licenses, but cannot do much. (no license error) Archiving/restoring the userId does not help. I would like to remove or fix the userId.
Thank you for help,
Joseph
1. During the installation of Jazz, the server was restarted after I had created the userId to replace ADMIN.
2. I restarted the installation but could not use the userId I had previously created.
3. I removed the userId from tomcat users, but could still not use the userId.
4. I ended up creating another userId2 that functions normally.
Thank you for help,
Joseph

Fix
Go to server:port/jts/admin
Open Jazz Team Server - Server Administration
Open Advanced Properties
Scroll or search for User Registry Type
Change the Value to UNSUPPORTED from whatever yours is set to.
Next change the "Ability to Modify User IDs" to true
Scroll to the top of the page and choose save.
At this point you should be able to rename the problem user's userID
When done, got back to and set User Registry Type back to what is was before.
Scroll to the top of the page and choose save.

This may be be useful for something I've just come upon. Have upgraded RTC 2 > RTC 3 and one user has raised issue of not being able to work in the Web UI, but the RTC client works just fine. In looking, the ID that RTC is configured to use has upper-case, but user is using lower case. Suggesting the use of the matching ID in the Web Client only partly works. Further searching shows that the ID with upper case has been archived for quite a while (at least since Jan 2011). The RTC is and has been configured with case-insensitive matching false .
