Install CDM into existing CLM server?

I want to integrate CDM with a CLM installation.
Has anybody tried to install the CDM application into an existing CLM (e.g. RTC, RQM, RRC) server? I don't want to have two Tomcat servers running parallel on different ports.

I tried the Installation Manager, but it won't let me install into the same package group...
In general , I suspect it should be as easy as just deploying the CDM .WAR archive into the CDM server, and then registering it on the JTS... is that a supported use case?
