Jazz and DB2 8

Chris Errichetti (7173) | asked Jun 25 '08, 7:44 a.m.
Hi, all.

I know that DB2 9 is a requirement, but does anybody know, if it is possible, how to use DB2 8 with Jazz? repotools recognizes that we are using DB2 8 on the server. I'm searching the forum but haven't found anything yet. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
Chris

RTC 1.0 will not run on db2 versions older than 9.1. 9.5 is recommended.

Thanks for the DB2 info. One follow-up question: can the DB2 client on the Jazz server be DB2 8 or does it also have to be DB2 9.5?

Jazz Team Server has the db2 9.x JDBC driver embedded in the server application; thus it will function independently of what db2 client(s) you have installed on the host machine.
