ClearCase SCm Adapter issues

Could not create the view: Plug-in "com.ibm.rational.clearcase.rtc.UCMActivity" was unable to instantiate class "com.ibm.rational.clearcase.rtc.views.CMActivityView".

I have RTC Version: 3.0
Build id: RTC-I20101112-1731

CC 7.1.0.2

I installed the adapter through the RTC client "Install Software" help menu.

If you don't get a response here on the forum, please work with Rational
Support, so they can recreate your configuration and get guidance from
the CC development team on plug-in compatibility.

Cheers,
Geoff

Thanks Geoff. Just to clarify its the Clearcase team and not RTC that will be helping me out.

Also if I understand it correctly, its not just CCRC that is supported , I can work with the UCM dynamic views once the Adapter is configured properly, ya?

Much appreciated

Yes, problems with the SCM Adapter would be handled by the ClearCase
team. And yes, for CC web views, you use the CCRC plugin, while for CC
dynamic views, you would use the SCM Adapter plugin.

Cheers,
Geoff
