RQM 2-weight distribution independently set of Actual Result

We use RQM 2.0.1.1 iFix 2.

A behavior one of our test teams don't understand is that the Weight Distribution of Execution Records can be independently set of the actual result. For example, the actual result is set to "Passed", but 100% weight points are set to failed.

The testers expected the Actual Result to be automatically set/calculated by the selected weight distribution.

Is this the way it should work or something we need to correct and understand?
Thank you,
Zica

RQM only computes an Actual Result when the test case/script execution
first completes. After that the user needs to manually modify the
Actual Result when changing the weight distribution. Currently this
isn't automatically done for you. In fact different customers want
different behavior. For example, there maybe some failed points lets
say (10 points failed and 90 points passed). In some circumstances it's
possible the tester consider the Actual Result as passed. And having
Actual Result be set for them each time they save the result would get
in the way.

However, to help ensure there is some cohesiveness between Actual Result
and weight points in RQM 3.0.1, there's a warning when the Actual Result
is set to a verdict for which there are no weight points. So if they
say Actual Result is passed but 100% weight points are set to failed,
then they will be warned of this condition and given the option to
continue or not.
