How best to export backlog in ranked order?

I support RTC for an enterprise and am often asked how to export backlog items with rankings. Ranking a backlog in the RTC tool is easy but there is no way to export the backlog to CSV (Excel) in same order. Many PMs like to export their backlogs to CSV for further analysis & printing in Excel.
Does anyone have any tips to share in this area for either V2.0.0.2 or V3.0.1? We are currently running 2.0.0.2 but are preparing to upgrade to 3.0.1.
I located Story 121619 which appears to be related and is marked as 'Done' for 3.0 M8C1 but I can not derive the solution. Here is link to Story 121619:
