Drill-through BIRT Reports in RTC Dashboard
I have just integrated a BIRT Report Template into RTC Dashboard. The BIRT Report displays aggregated data in form of a Pie Chart. What I need is to establish a way to drill-through the detail data when clicking on a piece of the Pie Chart. I intend to create a second detail BIRT report template for that purpose.
But how can I handle this. Can I use the "Parent Report ID" attribute in RTC Eclipse client when integrating a BIRT report using the Trend Report viewlet? Is there any alternative way to implement such a functionality?

Check the Work Items by Team Area and the Work Items by Owner sample reports. When you click on one of the bars in the bar chart in the Work Items by Team Area report, it will take you to the Work Items by Owner report.
You basically need to dynamically build a URL from the source report that when clicked would take you to the target report.
I do not think drill through is supported in the dashboard so you may have to use the reports web ui.
