Shall I be concerning about this message? Note I am installing to Program Files (x86).

I find that it is best to pay attention to that message, and never
install into a virtualized directory (to avoid write-permission problems).

Cheers,
Geoff

Thanks for your reply, but I need more clarifications:

1. The message refers to "Program Files" folder, does that include "Program Files (x86) as well?

2. The message says "To run an application without administrative ...", so shall we install RTC with or without administrative?

3. My RTC or all IBM products are installed into the default location (WAS in "Program Files" and all the rest in "C:\Program Files (x86)\IBM". Is that a problem?

Thanks
Jirong

To avoid this problem I never install to the default "C:\Program Files
(x86)" folder. So in general, just make sure you pick an install
location that doesn't have this warning.

Also there are two separate issues:
- Should you install as admin (in Windows 7, the answer is probably yes).
- Should you have to run as admin. For the server, that is probably
fine, but for the client, definitely not, since a lot of your client
users will not be admins.

Cheers,
Geoff
