Jazz Server running on Windows Server 2003

David Ward (8311214) | asked Aug 07 '07, 1:29 p.m.
Hi

I know that the beta server is officially supported on Windows XP and Linux RHEL 4

Is there any particular reason why Windows Server 2003 shouldn't work ?

Has anyone run the RTC server on Windows 2003 Server ?

Cheers
Dave

The RTC server works fine for me on a Windows XP box. When I tried to
install RTC server on our Windows Server 2003 box, I could not verify
that Tomcat was running using the http://localhost:9080 URL. The browser
just hung and the entire system seemed 'stuck'. There were no events
logged in the event viewer that I could see.

I don't have a clear sense of whether this is a problem unique to our
Server 2003 box or a more generalized RTC problem on that platform.

Any input welcome

I would imagine it just hasn't been tested on that system. I would imagine it works just fine. Why, are you having some problems with it?

shawn.
